LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has adjourned the hearing of a case of the Pakistan International Airlines airhostess, who is allegedly involved in gold smuggling case.
The airhostess, Nuzhat Bukhari, was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force and then she was handed over to the customs for prosecution. The customs prosecution team presented her before the court for remand where she accepted her crime. After that the court sent her to jail for judicial trial.
The senior airhostess was arrested while attempting to smuggle two kilogram of gold to New York. The suspect reportedly confessed to her crime that she was trying to smuggle gold from Lahore to New York via PIA flight PK-721.
