Customs court approves charge sheet against M/s Habibah & M. Yousuf Enterprise

KARACHI: The Customs Court approved interim charge sheet against Khoshi Muhammad, exporter of M/s Habibah and M. Yousuf Enterprise booked in mega tax evasion case submitted by investigation officer of Collectorate of Customs Exports Karachi.

On 1 September 2020, investigation officer appeared and submitted charge sheet against Khoshi Muhammad, exporter of M/s Habibah and M. Yousuf Enterprise filed goods declaration description used garment jeans pants second hand d grade quantity 24000 kg containers at KICT, destined to Port Kelang, Malaysia, subsequently the said containers were grounded for detailed examination by ANF staff, the physical examination led to recovery of 30 kg ketamine packed in 128 packets which were tactfully concealed inside the door strips of the containers.

He said that the above said goods have been seized under proper musheernama and after being served the mandatory notice under section 171 of the customs act, 1969 through KICT at the given address of the exporter accordingly and copy thereof has been pasted on the notice board under section 215 (A) of customs act, 1969 at the office of the deputy collector, examination at KICT, West Wharf, Karachi.
