Customs Court approves physical remand of currency smuggler

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has approved a three-day physical remand of an accused, Qaiser Iqbal, in currency smuggling case.

According to details, Qaisar Iqbal was arrested by the Customs authorities from airport while making an attempt to smuggle a huge amount of foreign currency from Pakistan to a Gulf state. He was trying to fly through a Sharjah bound flight of Airblue PA-410.
