RAWALPINDI: A special Customs Court has rejected Ayyan Ali’s plea for granting permanent exemption from appearance in the currency smuggling case and ordered her to appear on the next hearing of the case.
The court expressed its strong ire at Ayyan’s non-presence and ordered her to appear on June 6, 2017 at all costs. The court had granted exemption only for one day and it has now ordered the supermodel to appear in the court on June 6.
Counsel Latif Khosa was also not present in the court. The court asked about the schedule of Ayyan Ali and the time when she would be available in Pakistan. The junior lawyer told the court that she was busy in Dubai in modelling projects and she would come back in the month of June this year.
