LAHORE: An anti-smuggling court has ordered a 14-day remand of Muhammad Zaman Khan, accused of smuggling different items.
The accused was involved in smuggling of different items from Peshawar to Lahore by using his bus. He was arrested by Customs Intelligence and investigation when his bus was checked at a check point of the department at Shera Kot area of Band Road Lahore.
Huge quantity of smuggled cloth, tyers of pajero, ball bearings and lubrication oil was recovered from the bus. The smuggled items were made by Japan and Korea. Customs Intelligence and Investigation seized all the recovered items and arrested Zaman Khan. Later on, special court of anti smuggling ordered to send him jail on judicial remand of 14 days.
