Customs Court grants 7 days physical remand of cell phone smuggler

MULTAN: The Customs Court has granted seven days physical remand of a suspect who was arrested in a cell phones smuggling case.

The Multan Anti-Smuggling Organization produced the accused Muhammad Rizwan in the Court of Special Judge Customs and Taxation Lahore Chaudhry Ameer Ali on Wednesday.

According to details, during the checking of goods, the customs team seized cell phone from the luggage of Rizwan at the Rahim Yar Khan International Airport. The Multan Customs produced the accused in the court and asked for physical remand for further investigation. Chaudhry Ameer Ali has granted a seven-day physical remand of the accused.
