LAHORE: The Federal Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling Court has granted bail to and accused Sara in diamond and gold smuggling case.
As per detail, customs authorities at Lahore airport recovered smuggled diamonds, 2.5 Kg gold and 8 gold watches of Rado brand worth Rs 15 million from passengers named Rana Muhammad Rafique Farooq and Sara Adnan travelling from Sharjah to Lahore.
Both accused moved the court to get bail, while the Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling Court granted bail to one female accused against the surety bonds.
Both accused were detained by the customs authorities when they tried to clear the diamonds and gold by breaching the Pakistan’s rule and regulation regarding the limit of valuables that a passenger can carry while travelling into Pakistan or abroad.
