Customs Court grants bail to alleged cloth smuggler

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has granted the post-arrest bail to an accused, Muhammad Ali, in a cloth smuggling case.

Muhammad Ali was arrested by the Customs Intelligence from Lahore during a raid following the recovery of smuggled cloth of different brands from a warehouse owned by him. The value of the confiscated cloth was estimated at Rs 2 million. The recovered cloth was of Chinese, Korean and Indian origin.
