Customs court grants three days remand in Jawad Traders tax fraud case

ISLAMABAD: Customs special court for Anti Smuggling and Taxation has granted three days remand of Wali Muhammad and Hafiz Muhammad Umar allegedly involved in tax fraud of millions.

Chaudhry Mumtaz Hussain, Special Judge Cutoms granted three days remand of accused arrested by the Directorate General, Intelligence and Investigation (Inland Revenue) Islamabad on the directives of Director General Haroon Muhammad Khan Tareen. Accused namely Wali Muhammad s/o Abdul Hannan resident of Aman garh, Nowshehra & Hafiz Muhammad Umar s/o Abdul Hafeez resident of Sarjani Town, Karachi are associates of Jawad Traders, firm involved in tax fraud.
