Customs Court hears 11 cases on Thursday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 11 cases on Thursday and adjourned for next dates.

As per details, 11 cases of different types, including post arrest bail plea moved by Muazzam Ali and Azhar Fareed, were scheduled for the day, which have been adjourned until the next hearing. The court also adjourned bail plea of Muhammad Ilyas who is already on judicial remand until the next hearing. The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for the day.

Customs Court also proceeded on cases of Behram Khan, Ashraf Bhatti and Muhammad Asghar for their attendance in the court in different allegation and cases. Customs Court also recorded statements in a case against Shaukat Ali.

Cases of narcotics, tax evasion and smuggling were scheduled for the day, the court has proceeded and adjourned number of them for the next week.
