LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 16 important cases on Saturday and adjourned most of the cases until next hearing.
As per details, at least 16 cases of different types, including pre-arrest bail pleas filed by accused persons were scheduled for the day. The court adjourned bail pleas of Fayaz Mehmood and Shahbaz until next date of hearing.
The cases, including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were scheduled for the day.
A case of Rana Shaukat, who is allegedly involved in plastic smuggling case, was also scheduled for the hearing that has been adjourned for next week to record statements of witnesses. The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for the day.
