Customs Court hears 19 cases on Monday

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 19 cases which were scheduled for hearing on Monday.

The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling proceeded on many cases while a few were adjourned without any progress.

The Customs Court also adjourned bail plea of the accused Abdul Razzaq in a case of alleged smuggling.

Customs court adjourned bail plea of Habib Ullah who is in jail for judicial remand of 14 days in a case of smuggling. Habib Ullah has moved to the court for his post arrest bail.

On Monday Customs Court also adjourned a cases against Qaiser Iqbal who was arrested by the customs authorities in a case of tax evasion. Customs court recorded statements of the parties in that case and rescheduled  the same for next week.

Customs Court also proceeded on cases against Muhammad Akram in which court took action against his guarantee as he is not available in the court a long time ago.
