Customs Court hears 22 cases on Friday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 22 important cases on Friday, recorded statements and issued necessary actions regarding all cases.

On Friday, at least 22 cases were scheduled for hearing, including pre-arrest bail pleas of accused as well. The court adjourned the bail pleas of Shahzad Ahmed and Jaffar Ali until the next hearing. Customs Court has also adjourned many cases of smuggling.

The cases, including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were scheduled for the day. The court also proceeded on statements and witnesses on five different cases for today. Attendance of accused in 3 cases was also scheduled in the Court of Chauhdary Ameer Muhammad Khan.

The court has heard cases of different areas of Punjab including Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Jehlum, Gujranwala and Faisalabad were scheduled for the day.
