Customs Court hears 23 cases on Tuesday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 23 different cases, including pre-arrest bail pleas and recording statements of the witnesses here on Tuesday.

The Customs Court adjourned pre-arrest bail pleas filed by Muhammad Shahzad and Muhammad Altaf in a case of currency smuggling. They were caught rend handed whey they were trying to smuggle it abroad. The post-arrest bail pleas of two accused involved in tax evasion were also rescheduled. These two cases were filed by the Gujranwala and Faisalabad regions.
