Customs Court hears 24 cases on Monday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 24 important cases on Monday and issued necessary orders and directions related to these cases.

Sources told Customs Today that  24 cases of different types were scheduled for day’s hearing including pre-arrest bail pleas of accused persons as well the court adjourned bail pleas of  Shaukat Ali, Muzammal Hussain and Tariq Ali until the next hearing of the cases. The court also rejected a bail plea of accused who is involved in tax evasion.

The court also proceeded on statements and witnesses on five different cases on the day. The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for the day.
