LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 24 important cases on Thursday, including pre-arrest bail pleas of the accused.
These cases, including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were scheduled for the day’s hearing.
It is important to mention here that a low turnout was witnessed during the court’s proceedings on Thursday due to bad weather.
Cases of smuggling were also part of the day’s schedule in which the court recorded the statements of the parties. In some cases, the Customs Court recorded witnesses’ statements and issued necessary directions. Cases of Sambrial, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Lahore were heard in the Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling.
