Customs Court hears 24 cases on Wednesday

LAHORE: In the Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling, different cases were scheduled for hearing on Wednesday.

The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 24 important cases, including pre-arrest bail pleas of accused persons as well. The court adjourned hearing of pre-arrest bail pleas of Muhammad Nadeem, Sher Ali and Muhammad Tanveer.

The Special Court of Customs Judge adjourns all bail pleas until next hearing of the cases.

The cases, including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were scheduled for the day.  The Court also proceeded on statements and witnesses on four different cases.

The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for hearing, in which Court ordered prosecution teams to complete investigation challans of the cases as soon as possible.

The Judge of Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling, Malik Meer Muhammad Khan, is conducting hearing of the cases regularly in new Court which is situated in Judicial Complex.
