Customs Court hears 25 cases on Monday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 25 cases, which were scheduled for hearing on Monday and adjourned all the cases until the next hearing.

The Customs Court also heard eight pre-arrest bail pleas filed by Sayed Jahanzaib Bukhari, Abdul Razzaq, Nadir Ali, Muhammad Ayub Khan, Mian Waqas, Muhammad Iqbal, Shafqat Ali Ihsan and Naseer Butt. All of the bail pleas were adjourned for new dates. The applications were moved by the accused in different cases of sales tax evasion and smuggling.

The court also heard post-arrest bail pleas of Muhammad Waqar and Muhammad Rafique. It also adjourned the cases of Khursheed Ahmad, Sharafat Ali, Ijaz Shaukat and Ghafar Khan.
