LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 27 important cases on Thursday and issued necessary directions as well.
These cases which include tax evasion, Customs, smuggling and narcotics were scheduled for the day. Cases of smuggling were also a part of the day’s hearing in which Court recorded the statements of both parties. In some cases Customs Court recorded witnesses and issued necessary directions.
On Thursday two bail pleas of Muhammad Jamil and Yasir Shahid were also adjourned till next hearing of the case.
Special Judge of Customs Court Nazeer Ahmad Gajana has directed the parties and Customs officials to complete the challans of the cases soon to speed up the cases in the Court .
