Customs Court hears 27 cases on Tuesday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 27 cases on Tuesday and issued necessary orders in the cases.

As per details, 27 cases of different types, including pre-arrest bail pleas, tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics were also scheduled for the day. The court heard the cases of different regions, including Dera Ghazi Khan, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Faisalabad.

Specials Judge Chaudhary Amer Muhammad Khan heard the bail pleas of Muhammad Aslam, Muzammal Hussain Muhammad Akhtar Rasool and adjourned the case for next hearings.

The case of Abdullah Sugar Mills was also scheduled for the day but the accused party did not attend the hearing; therefore, the court adjourned the case.
