Customs Court indicts Czech lady smuggler in heroin smuggling case

LAHORE: The Special Court of Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has indicted the Czech lady smuggler Tereza  in case of heroin smuggling.

On the other hand customs court once again issued non bailable arrest warrants of the accused who provided the heroin to lady smuggler.

According to details on Tuesday accused lady smuggler Treza was produced before the special court where the court framed a crime against her but she denied the charges and plead not guilty.

It is necessary to mention here that a Czech woman carrying nine kilogram of heroin was arrested at the Allama Iqbal International Airport. The 21-year-old identified as Tereza Hluskova was attempting to smuggle the heroin from Lahore to Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan Customs has registered a case under Customs Act of 1969 and has shifted her to customs warehouse for further process.

Sources has confirmed that lady smuggler has said before the customs I&P that she knew that something is hidden in the bag but she doesn’t know that there is heroin in the bag. She said during investigation that she has already visited Gujranwala and Lahore for three times
