Customs Court issues arrest warrants of accused involved in tax evasion

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has issued arrest warrants of the accused Faheem Ahmed who is involved in tax evasion of Rs 230 million.

Customs Appraisement Mughalpura detected tax evasion on goods imported from Thailand and an exercise to recover evaded revenue has been initiated by the customs. Customs started investigation and asked the court to issue arrest warrants of the accused.
