Customs Court refuses to send alleged alcohol smugglers on physical remand

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has rejected the application of the Kasur police, seeking physical remand of three alleged alcohol smugglers.

According to the details, three accused Yaseen, Muratab Ali and Muhammad Sharaft were arrested by the Kasur police in a case pertaining to the smuggling of 58 bottles of Indian alcohol. The police sources said that all the accused were professional smugglers and after a long time they were caught red handed on international border with India.
