LAHORE: Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has sent two accused in diamonds, gold smuggling case on 14-days judicial remand.
As per detail, customs authorities at Lahore airport recovered smuggled diamonds, 2.5 Kg gold and 8 gold watches of Rado brand worth Rs 15 million from passengers named Rana Muhammad Rafique Farooq and Sara Adnan travelling from Sharjah to Lahore.
Earlier, Customs Investigation and Prosecution team presented them to the court on Thursday and got their physical remand for further interrogation.
However, on Saturday both of the accused were again presented to the court where Customs court sent them on 14-days judicial remand.
