Customs Court to remain close due to chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA)

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling will remain close for today on Tuesday October, 30 as chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain is observed today with religious zest and zeal and Urs of Hazrat data Ganj Bakhash is also being observed today.

According to a notification issued by the Lahore High Court (LHC), all courts, including session courts, civil courts and other lower courts will remain closed for one day on the eve of Urs Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh and chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA). All courts will resume hearing of the cases on Wednesday (tomorrow).

Meanwhile on Monday customs court heard ten important cases of different kinds and adjourned most the cases until next hearing for further proceedings. Customs court adjourned the pre-arrest bail plea of Fiaz Ahmad for further hearing and a post arrest bail plea of Muhammad Tariq was also adjourned for next date.
