Customs Court to remain close till Thursday

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling will remain close for three days from August 21 (Tuesday) to August 23 (Thursday) on account of Eidul Azha.

According to a notification issued by the Lahore High Court (LHC), all courts, including session courts, civil courts and other lower courts will remain closed for four days. All courts will resume hearing of the cases on Friday.

Meanwhile on Monday customs court heard ten important cases of different kinds and adjourned most the cases until next hearing for further proceedings. Customs court adjourned the pre-arrest bail plea of Fiaz Ahmad for further hearing and a post arrest bail plea of Muhammad Tariq was also adjourned for next date.
