LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti Smuggling will be be shifted from Federal Court building to Judicial Complex Lahore.
As per directions of Lahore High Court, Customs Court will start work at the newly built Judicial Complex from next week. Preparations for shifting of staff and court record are in process and major part of files and furniture is already shifted to new location.
Punjab government has built a new seven story building near Sessions Courts where all lower courts will be shifted soon. Customs Court, Anti Narcotics and other Courts which are working in Federal Courts building at Mall Road will be shifted soon in Judicial Complex.
Newly-built building contains centrally air-conditioned rooms and car parking which will decrease problems of judges and lawyers.
