PESHAWAR: The Customs Department works to curb the smuggling and takes steps to assist the importers so no compromise will be tolerated as a number of officials have also faced investigations in the history.

The Customs Acts are complicated and, due to lack of education of importers and transporters, it has become weird to ask for customs declaration at customs check-posts established by the Customs Department throughout the country.
