Customs Dry Port earns revenue Rs3011.722m during H1 of FY2016-17

ISLAMABAD: The Customs dry port collected revenue of Rs 3011.722 million in head of all duty and taxes during first half (July to December) of financial year (FY) 2016-17.

Assistant Collector Amanat Ali Khan told Customs Today that during first quarter of FY 2016-17 the dry port collected revenue of Rs 1574.651 million under head of all duty and taxes. While, during second quarter of FY 216-17 the dry port collected revenue of Rs 1437.071 million in head of all duty and taxes.

He said that the dry port collected revenue of Rs 462.094 million during the month of December, Rs 559.592 million during the month of November and Rs 415.385 million during the month of October under head of all duty and taxes.

He added that the dry port collected revenue of Rs 416.381 million under head of all duty and taxes during the month of September, Rs 809.402 million during the month of August and Rs 348.868 million during the month of July FY 2016-17.
