Customs earns of Rs.1129.59m during 1st July to 27th November of FY2017-18

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate earned extra revenue with amount of Rs.1129.59 million under head of all taxes from 1st July to 27th November of Financial Year 2017-18 against assigned revenue collection target for 1st July to 30th November financial year 2017-18.

Collector Saeed Khan Jadoon told Customs Today that Collectorate was assigned revenue collection target of Rs.2227.56 million under head of all taxes from 1st July to 30th November FY17-18 whereas it was earned Rs.2166.18 million during July to 27th November FY17-18.

The Collectorate surpassed five months revenue target under all heads in four months and 27 days of November Financial Year 2017-18, the Customs Collectorate of Islamabad was assigned Rs.5355.12 million under head of all taxes for 5 months (July to November) while it was earned surplus revenue Rs.6484.71 million under same heads during July to 27th November Financial Year (FY) 2017-18.

The Collector told that MCC earned Rs.2837.65 million under head of sales Tax (ST) during July to 27 November FY17-18 whereas the Collectorate was assigned Rs.1847.79 million under same head for July to 30th November FY17-18.

He was told that during July to 27th November the Collectorate was earned surplus amount of Rs.199.85 million under head of federal excise duty (FED) against assigned revenue target of Rs190.33 million.

Collector Jadoon told that the MCC Islamabad was received surplus revenue Rs.1281.03 million under head of Income tax (IT) during July to 27th November FY17-18 whereas the Collectorate was assigned Rs.1089.44 million for 1st July to 30th November FY17-18.
