Customs Enforcement, ASO to hold monthly meetings to review progress

KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation has asked the officers of the Customs Enforcement and Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) to hold meetings on monthly basis to review the overall performance.

According to source, during the meetings the officers of the Customs Enforcement and Anti Smuggling Organization will compare the current month performance with the last month. The decision to hold the monthly meetings came after the directives of the Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation.

The officers of the concern departments will submit the monthly progress reports to their respective Director of the Intelligence and Investigation Customs Enforcement Muhammad Yaqoob Mako and Director Intelligence and Investigation Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) Asif Marghoob Siddique.

On the other hand the officers of the Customs Enforcement and Anti Smuggling Organization have sought What’s app and Skype as an effective tool to tackle the crime related issues. All the information regarding any crime along with other necessary information are being delivered through What’sapp and Skype.
