ISLAMABAD: Farasat Ali Jafri, Examiner (BS-16), Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive, Karachi, has been suspended with immediate effect for a period of three months.
The Competent Authority placed the officer under suspension, while exercising the powers conferred upon it under Rule 5(1) of the Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules 1973.
Meanwhile, Federal Board of Revenue has issued notification regarding leaves of Nowsherwan Khan, an Inland Revenue Service officer of BS-18, presently posted as Second Secretary (Legal), FBR (HQ), Islamabad. The officer had been granted 44 days leave on full pay on medical grounds from April 06, 2015 to May 19, 2015.
