Customs expects up to Rs 60m revenue through first auction

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Customs is expecting to collect revenue from Rs 50 to Rs60 million by holding first auction on August 29, 2016. Around 50 non-paid vehicles, including embassy surrender vehicles will be displayed for buyers.

Assistant Collector dry port Islamabad Amanat Ali Khan said that this auction will be the most important for the Islamabad Customs as it will generate a handsome amount through this auction.

As per the details, he said that vehicles and goods are as under one bullet proof Mercedes 85 model, 04 Mercedes Benz car C180 model 99, Accidental 2002 model BMW, Toyota land cruiser 99,2001,2003,2004,2006 models, Toyota Prado 2002 model, Toyota double cabin model 99 and 2004, Toyota Hicae 2000 model, Toyota Vigo 2005 model.

Amanat Ali said that there are many different type of goods i.e fabric, soft drinks, welding roods, crockery, led, pumps, tyres and solar panels will be set for auctioneers to get buy on reasonable prices.

He said that appraisers department of dry port have been finalize the value of the vehicles as for as goods and tacks are display on the vehicles who will set for auction.
