KARACHI: Model Customs Export has recovered Rs5.433 million from the various companies which involved in the tax evasion during first three week of October.
Customs officials told Customs Today that its the result of show cause notices which sent during the month of September and in the last days of October. Now the department issued notice to M/s Gul Bai Garments and Netware Industry to deposit tax amount. During the audit of the company it raveled the said company cleared their consignments of garments and buckram in which misused the PST and did not deposit original amount of tax duties.
The company misused the PST and did not deposit the tax amount of Rs276,000. Therefore now department issued notice to said company and warned it if it will not deposit its tax amount the department take stern action against it.
