KARACHI: The model Customs Exports has launches a crackdown against tax evaders and issued final notices to many companies to deposit their taxes.
Customs officials told Customs Today that the department has issued final notice to M/s Ambreen Enterprises and Exports to deposit Rs 600,000 with fine of Rs66,000. The said company cleared three consignments during August in which it was involved in tax evasion of Rs 600,000. The said company misused PST which was revealed during the audit of the company. The department has already issued many notices to said company but it remained failed to deposit its tax amount. On this now department issued final notice and warned the company to submit tax amount on priority bases otherwise department take stern action against it.
