Customs Exports issues notice to M/s Ayub Feeders due to tax evasion

KARACHI: The Customs Export has issued tax notice to the management of M/s Ayub Feeders due to company’s alleged involvement in tax evasion.

Sources told Customs Today that during scrutiny of import data of the company, it was revealed that M/s Ayub Feeders availed undue benefits and concessions by importing different consignments of fertilizers through SRO 566. Sources said that consignments were imported during the month of July 2016.

M/s Ayub Feeders imported five consignments of fertilizers and caused a loss of Rs6,52,000 to national kitty. After detecting tax evasion Customs Exports authorities also imposed a fine of Rs92,000 on M/s Ayub Enterprises.

Now Customs Export authorities issued final notice to M/s Ayub Enterprises directing them to clear outstanding tax amount at the earliest. Customs Export warns the company that failure to clear outstanding amount will led to stern action.
