Customs Exports seizes narcotics from PICT

KARACHI: In a successful bid to foil an attempt to export narcotics concealed in general cargo, collectorate of Customs Exports Karachi under the leadership of Collector Syed Asad Raza Rizvi and under the supervision Additional Collector Rizwan Bashir has made a seizure of ice/methephetamine worth millions of rupees on 02.07.2022.

The team of Exports Examination-PICT led by Assistant Collector Rabel Khokhar, intercepted a consignment of salt being cleared in yellow channel. On the basis of daily exercise of profiling, the examination of consignment destined to Australia was created.

One of the main accused, prima facie master mind in this case, has been arrested and produced before the court for remand. Further investigation is under way.
