Customs Exports serves notice on SRK Enterprises to recover Rs 1.7m

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate has issued a notice to SRK Enterprises directing it to pay outstanding amount of Rs 1.778 million within 14 days in order avoid legal action.

The special recovery cell of the collectorate served the notice, as the company did not pay any amount in wake of surcharge during last two years and also defaulter of income tax.

Almost six months ago, a notice was issued to the said company but it did not respond, the officials said, adding that now a final notice following all recovery rules of the Customs Act, 1969 has been issued to the defaulter.

On other hand, the collectorate has issued letter to two banks seeking bank details of owner of the Al Mustafa Groups to recover outstanding dues.
