Customs Faisalabad seizes Hino Ranger truck

FAISALABAD: The Custom’s intelligence and investigation seized a non-duty paid Hino Ranger truck. The market value of seized truck is Rs 4 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Additional Director Azmat Tahira received a tip regarding smuggling of the said vehicle. After which a customs raiding party, comprising Muhammad Tahir iqbal (SIO), Muhammad Saleem, (IO), and Muhammad Tariq, Muhammad Ashrif Qureshi (sepoys ), was constituted which intercepted the truck bearing registration number TK-450 near Jaranwala Road, Faisalabad.

The Customs team asked the owner of the vehicle who was identified as Nisar Ahmed son of  Ghluam Haider, a resident of  Ghousia Town Mohallah Mannon Pura, Sheikhupura to produce legal documents regarding possession of the vehicle but he failed to provide the same. After which, the Customs team seized the vehicle and registered a case against the accused person.
