The operation targeted Flight 9P-501 of Fly Jinnah, arriving from Sharjah. Upon arrival, a passenger identified as Mumtaz Muzaffar, a resident of Sialkot, was intercepted. A thorough search of his luggage led to the recovery of 95 expensive mobile phones concealed within. The estimated market value of the seized devices runs into crores of rupees.

A case has been registered against the accused, who is now in custody.

The enforcement was carried out under the directives of Collector Tayyabba Kiyani by a dedicated team comprising Deputy Collector Airport Ahmad Zaheer, Superintendent Irfan Laghari, Inspectors Aqsaa Khalid and Faheem, and Constable Faika Younas.

This successful operation highlights the ongoing commitment of Collector Tayyabba Kiyani and her team in combating smuggling and ensuring compliance with customs regulations at Lahore Airport.
