BEIJING: Customs in Shangluo of northwest China’s Shaanxi province have cracked a massive online smuggling case involving some 1100 wild animals and 11 million yuan.
Fifty-six suspects have also been nabbed in the cross-region custom operation which started in June last year.
More than half of the animals are endangered or rare species. They include Python bivittatus, gold pythons and Loris tardigradus.
