Customs foils bid to smuggle 15kg of heroin from Landi Kotal

KHYBER AGENCY: In joint action of Customs field staff and Khasadar squads, 15 kg hashish were recovered from a vehicle in Landi Kotal Bazaar on Monday.

Shams-ul-Islam, Tehsildar Landi Kotal told Customs Today that the on duty troops during their routine duty searching a motor car bearing registration no (IDJ-2802), parked in Landi Kotal Bazaar. During examination 16 kilograms hashish were recovered, concealed in different cavities of the vehicle. The contraband item was confiscated and case was registered against unknown drug pusher, the official told.
