Acting on credible intelligence indicating that a silver Toyota Vitz was transporting narcotics from Basima toward the coastal belt, enforcement teams intercepted the vehicle near the bordering area of Panjgur and Washuk District.

A thorough search of the vehicle led to the recovery of narcotics concealed in different hidden compartments.

The seized Ice carries an estimated international market value of Rs 450 million, while the Non-Customs Paid (NCP) Toyota Vitz is valued at Rs 2.5 million.

Both the narcotics and the vehicle have been taken into custody, it added.

FBR reiterates its firm resolve to combat narcotics smuggling and remains fully dedicated to eliminating this threat to society.
