Customs foils bid to smuggle foreign currency at AIIA

LAHORE: Customs team deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport foiled a bid to smuggle US$70,000 to Tehran.

According to details, a team of customs and FIA intercepted a passenger Gulfam Haider who was travelling from Lahore to Iran and recovered $70,000 from his possession which were tactfully hidden in his bag.
