The passenger, coming from Dubai, was boarded on Shaheen Airline flight No-767. Accused Irfan Ali was found with the gold jewelry hidden in his under-garments very tactfully. The customs authorities upon suspicion intercepted him and presented him in front of the Deputy Collector of Customs Usman Bajwa, who recovered gold ornaments in the presence of two witnesses.

The customs seized the gold on failure to produce duty clearance documents, arrested the accused, and registering a case under Customs Act 1969.
