TORKHAM: Customs has foiled a bid of smuggling Rs 10 million worth of urea loaded in six vehicles to Afghanistan at Torkham border.
The transportation of urea is banned as it used in explosive materials and it was being smuggled in garb of the export of flour to Afghanistan. The Customs officials after taking into possession the vehicles arrested one driver while the drivers of other vehicles managed to flee from the spot. Further investigations were in progress.
