Customs Gwadar foils bid to smuggle Iranian diesel

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate Gwadar has foiled an attempt to smuggle Iranian diesel in Jeewani and arrested three smugglers.

Sources told Customs Today that Assistant Collector Shafiq Ahmed received a credible information regarding the smuggling of Iranian diesel. He constituted a raiding party which intercepted a launch and seized 42,000 liters of smuggled Iranian diesel. The market value of seized diesel is Rs 2.2 million.
