Customs Golf Cup tournament postponed due to heavy rain in Lahore

LAHORE: The Customs Preventive Lahore has called off Customs Golf Cup Tournament due to to heavy rain in Lahore and forecast for more rain on Friday and Saturday.

Collector of Customs Lahore Preventive informed Customs Today that due to heavy rain in Lahore and forecast for more rain on Friday and Saturday, the Customs Golf Cup has been postponed.

The collector further informed that the new date shall be announced shortly besides he also regretted inconvenience.

Earlier the Customs Collectorate Preventive, Lahore was all set to hold first ever “Custom Golf Cup” of its nature on 27th August, 2016 at the Lahore Gymkhana Golf Club.

Amateur golf players/ officers/ officials of Pakistan Customs department were to participate in the tournament.

At the end of the tournament a prize distribution ceremony was also be held. In 2-days golf tournament event, first day ladies (9 holes), seniors (18 holes), veterans (9 holes) was schedule while on 2nd day Invitees (9 holes) were be played before the opening ceremony of the tournament.
