ISLAMABAD: Customs House face electricity problem due to non-availability of a stand-bye generator, it is learnt here.
Sources told Customs Today that there is no generator available in the office and electricity shutdowns after every hour is a routine matter. They further said that the UPS system cannot bear a heavy load and even office printers and computers cannot be operated on UPS.
The employees have to complete their work before light goes off. Sometime work remain incomplete due to electricity breakdown. Even elevator goes off as there is no backup for it.
Employees are facing problems as the light goes off after every hour. According to the employees, there are hundreds of computers and printers which need high voltage automatic generator at the Customs House.
