Customs House issues fire safety alert for Customs House building

KARACHI: Deputy Collector Headquarters-I Muhammad Faisal has issued a fire safety alert to all the departments situated in the Customs House building to avoid any hassle in the future and to take necessary measures as early as possible.

In the safety fire alert, the Deputy Collector Headquarters-I stated that the fire that broke out at the second floor of Customs House on 5th February 2018 had created no loss whereas all the record was safe and secure.

It was also informed through safety fire alert that the fire was timely controlled and no major loss had been recorded due quick action of the staff present in the building despite government holiday on account of Kashmir Day.

All the Collectorate officers, officials and the CPF/PRAl/TPL as well as all other concern officers located at Customs House Building are requested to ensure before leaving that all the electric, electrical appliances, fridge, computer, printer, photocopier, electric heater must be shut down/switched off in order to avoid any problem of short circuit or occurrence of such incident of fire that held recently.
